The Liver Tolerates a Lot Before It Complains

It processes everything you eat, drink and swallow, and it keeps going while damage accumulates. Fatty liver, early hepatitis and alcohol-related strain often produce no symptoms whatsoever.

That's why enzymes are worth checking rather than waiting to feel something. Damage caught at that stage is frequently reversible, and the things that reverse it are unglamorous: less alcohol, some weight loss, a look at what medication and supplements you're taking.

Reading Your Report

Expect a value or two to sit slightly outside the range. That's normal and usually means nothing on its own. What matters is which one, by how much, and whether it's moving compared with last time.

These tests point at a diagnosis. They don't make one. Read your report with a doctor who knows your history and what you're currently taking.
